We took out a pair of the Salsa Journeyers from All Star Bike Rentals in Oak Bluffs for an adventure ride! After loading the gravel bikes onto our tray-style rack, we drove and parked in Menemsha. Parking was lucky, but our back-up plan was parking at the Menemsha Shuttle parking lot on Tabor House Road and riding from there to Peaked Hill and then down North Road.
Minutes after mounting our bicycles, we dismounted to wait for the famous Menemsha Bike Ferry across Menemsha Creek to Aquinnah while watching fishing boats and sailboats pass by in the breeze. We rode along the water to the Lighthouse and Cliffs and then swooped down Moshup Road with absolutely amazing views.
